Your assistant can run a search across Reddit for your company, product, or a competitor, open the threads that come back, and read the full comment tree under each one rather than just the post. The comments are where the real complaint lives. It reads and posts nothing, so this is safe to run before you have decided whether you want a presence on Reddit at all.

What you end up with. A written summary of every recent thread that mentions you, with the specific complaints and questions quoted and linked back to the thread.

It can search subreddits by topic and pull each one's subscriber count and description, then fetch the explicit posting rules and the list of post flairs a community requires. Most first posts get removed for a rule the poster never read, and both the rules and the flair requirement are readable before you write anything.

What you end up with. A shortlist of communities that fit your question, each with its posting rules and its required flair options written out.

Never without. Treat the published rules as the floor, not the whole standard. Most communities also enforce unwritten norms about self-promotion, and the rules endpoint cannot see those.

It can pull a subreddit's posts sorted by hot, new, top, rising, controversial, or best over a chosen time window, and separately pull the most controversial posts across all of Reddit for that period. Controversial is the useful sort here, because it surfaces the arguments rather than the consensus. It then reads the comment threads under the ones worth reading.

What you end up with. A themed digest of what a community argued about over your chosen period, with the individual threads listed underneath each theme.

Never without. Never read a sorted listing as a representative sample. Sorts are ranked by engagement, so a theme can dominate the top of a subreddit while barely existing in it.

Before you reply to someone or quote them internally, it can pull the public profile for that username, including karma and account status, and check what flair the person carries in the subreddit where they posted. In communities that verify professions through flair, that flair is often the only credential attached to a claim.

What you end up with. A short read on who you are about to reply to: account age and karma, plus whatever the community itself has labeled them as.

Never without. Never treat karma or flair as identity verification. Flair in most subreddits is self-assigned, and a high-karma account tells you someone posts a lot, not that they are who they say.

It can fetch the subreddit's rules and its valid flair templates, tell you where your draft breaks one, then create the text or link post with the right flair attached. Composio's own description of that action is direct about the stakes: it publishes publicly visible content immediately, and posts can be removed silently after submission.

What you end up with. A published post that satisfies the community's stated rules and carries a valid flair, plus a note of anything in your draft that a rule made you change.

Never without. Approve the exact title, body, and subreddit before it submits. A Reddit post is public the moment it exists, it is attached to your account's whole history, and a removed post still leaves a record with the moderators.

It can retrieve the item by its fullname so you can both read what is currently live, then rewrite the body text. The limits are worth knowing before you rely on this: it edits only your own comments and self-posts, and it cannot change a title or the target of a link post. If the title is the problem, editing will not fix it.

What you end up with. The corrected body text live on the post or comment, and a copy of what it said beforehand.

Never without. Keep the original text before the edit runs. Reddit marks an edited post but does not show readers the previous version, so if you do not save it yourself nobody can reconstruct what you actually said.

It can read the full comment tree, draft a reply in context, and post it against a specific post or comment. Two mechanical things decide whether this works: the action fails outright on a locked or archived thread, so the thread state has to be checked first, and posting several replies in quick succession triggers Reddit's rate limit with a cooldown. It can also switch inbox replies on or off for that item so the responses reach you.

What you end up with. A posted reply in the right place in the thread, with inbox notifications set the way you want for whatever comes back.

Never without. Read every reply yourself before it posts. A comment from an account with your company's name on it is a public statement from the company, and Reddit is unusually good at noticing when one was not written by a person.

It can delete a comment or a post you authored, by ID. Composio's descriptions say the same thing twice for a reason: deletion is permanent and irreversible, and it works only on content from the connected account. Run it in two moves. Have it retrieve and show you the exact item first, then approve that one item.

What you end up with. The specific item removed, and a saved copy of its text, thread, and timestamp for your own records.

Never without. Never approve a deletion described only by a rule or a search, and save the text before it goes. A deleted Reddit post or comment cannot be restored through the connection, replies to it stay visible without their parent, and anyone who already quoted it still has it.
