Your assistant can read the full subscription list, the hosting orders behind them, and the websites and virtual machines those orders are carrying. Put together, that answers the question the billing page does not: which running thing each line item pays for. Orders include ones shared with you from other people's accounts, which is often where the surprise is.

What you end up with. A line by line list of active subscriptions matched to the sites and servers they support, with anything you are paying for and not using called out.

Never without. Ask it to name what it could not match. A subscription with no site attached might be an unused renewal or might be email or a license the site listing never shows, and those two look identical from here.

The assistant can check a name across several extensions in one go, or check one extension and ask for alternative suggestions alongside it. It can then read the catalog for the price of what it found. Catalog prices come back in cents as whole numbers, so 1799 means 17.99, and an assistant reporting the raw figure will be off by a hundredfold unless you tell it to convert.

What you end up with. A shortlist of names that are actually free to register, each with the real price and the extension it applies to.

Never without. Confirm the price unit in what it reports back. The catalog returns cents as integers, and the conversion is the assistant's to make rather than the API's.

The domain list returns every domain on the account, and the subscription list returns what is actually being paid for. Read side by side, they answer the question nobody asks until it is too late: which name is sitting on the account with no subscription behind it. It can also read which WHOIS contact profile each domain uses, so you find out now rather than at renewal that the registrant on record left two years ago, and it can check whether a name you thought you owned is in fact available to register.

What you end up with. Every domain on the account matched to the subscription paying for it, with the unmatched ones named and the contact profile behind each one stated.

Never without. Confirm anything that looks unpaid against Hostinger's own billing screen before you act on it. A domain can be registered somewhere else and pointed here, in which case it is fine and this reading is wrong in the direction that makes you relax.

The assistant can pull the current DNS records for the domain, run them through Hostinger's own validation endpoint, check whether a forwarding rule is redirecting the traffic somewhere you forgot about, and confirm whether the domain is verified as yours. It reads the configuration rather than guessing from what the browser shows you. Note that changing the records is not something this connector does.

What you end up with. A readout of what the DNS actually says right now, which records fail validation, and whether a redirect or an unverified domain explains the behavior.

Never without. Give propagation its time before treating a reading as the answer. Hostinger's own note is that a new TXT record can take up to ten minutes to appear, so a check run immediately after a change reports the old state truthfully and misleadingly.

The virtual machine listing returns configuration and current state for every instance, including CPU, memory, disk, IP addresses and whether it is running. The assistant can read the operating system template each one was built from and the data center it sits in. This is a read of the inventory, not a control panel: starting, stopping and rebuilding are not in this connector.

What you end up with. An inventory of every VPS with its specification, its IP addresses, its current state, and the data center it runs in.

Never without. Keep the output where you keep credentials. This returns IP addresses and machine configuration for everything you run, which is exactly the reconnaissance an attacker would otherwise have to do themselves.

Hostinger can mint a free subdomain that works immediately, so a demo, a staging copy or a client preview can go live before anyone decides on a name. The assistant can create it and then confirm it shows up in your website list. A custom domain can be attached later without moving the site.

What you end up with. A live subdomain you can hand to someone this afternoon, with the naming decision still open.

Never without. Decide out loud whether the thing going on it is public. A free subdomain is reachable by anyone who has the address and is not a private staging environment.

Registrars require a WHOIS contact profile before a domain can be registered, and it is the part everybody fills in badly at the last minute. The assistant can read the profiles you already have, check which domains each one is attached to, and create a new one for an individual or an organization ahead of the purchase.

What you end up with. A registration contact profile that exists and is correct before you are three fields into a checkout, plus a list of which domains use which profile today.

Never without. Supply the contact details yourself and read them back before the profile is created. These are the legal registrant details for a domain, some of them are published, and a profile built from an assistant's best guess at your address is a problem you find out about at transfer time.

The assistant can list the keys already registered, add a new public key, show you which virtual machines are on the account so you know what each key is for, and delete the ones nobody claims. It works with the public half of the key pair only, which is the half that is safe to hand over. Hostinger's own description carries the catch worth reading twice: deleting a public key from the account does not remove it from any virtual machine it was already installed on.

What you end up with. An account key list containing only keys you recognize, with new keys named and registered, and a written note of which machines still need checking directly.

Never without. Paste the public key yourself, never let a private key near the conversation, and treat every deletion as tidying rather than revoking. The connector states plainly that removing a key from the account leaves it in place on any machine it was already added to, so access you thought you just closed may still be open.
